I love watching productivity tips and tricks on YouTube as well as videos that showcase all the different ways that you can use different apps. Here are my 10 favourite channels on YouTube right now. These are the 10 productivity YouTube channels that you’ll love and don’t want to miss.
1. Carl Pullein
Carl gives some really helpful advice on general productivity and time management principles. He like to keep things simple and his Productivity Mastery videos are really helpful at this. He also produces videos on ToDoist and Evertnote and how to use them to help get things done. Check his channel out here. https://www.youtube.com/@Carl_Pullein
2. Matt D’Avella
Matt is a film maker by trade and so his videos are some of the highest quality you can get within this niche. His focus is on minimalism or essentialism and so his content is really helpful for managing, work and life and everything all together. His channel can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/@MattDAvella
3. Thomas Frank
You will see two channels listed here for Thomas Frank. I thought hard about whether to include both but the other channel is both incredibly valuable and incredibly niche so I decided that I would. Thomas does an incredible amount of research into his videos and seems to put the most of amount of preparation into the content he produces. His focus is on productivity but less about the tips and tricks but more about general principles and lifestyle and how this impacts us. For example, one of his most helpful videos talks about how our instant access/gratification relationship with technology is destroying our ability to concentrate and focus. His main channel is here. https://www.youtube.com/@Thomasfrank
4. Mariana Viera
This channel began life focussing on study methods, learning and advice relating to this but has expanding that theme to more general work and productivity. The videos I find to be generally helpful and calming to watch. Find her channel here. https://www.youtube.com/@mariana-vieira
5. Better Creating
Simon’s Channel focuses primarily on using Notion as an app to manage your whole life. He has some really helpful templates and workflows all built into Notion. If you don’t use Notion, the channel will be less valuable but he does produce some videos outside of this niche and all of his videos tend to contain principles that can applied in other apps as well. Find his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@BetterCreating
6. Keep Productive
This channel focuses on all the different apps you can find that help you manage your work, your time and your information. Keep Productive reviews all of these apps, compares them and then produces video guides for using them from the simple basics, to more advanced stuff. If you are looking to choose an app, or find out how to better use what you already have then this is the place to go. https://www.youtube.com/@keepproductive
7. Simpletivity
Scott Friesen at Simpletivity focusses his general productivity advice on keeping things simple, as per the channel name and tag line. In keeping with this, he produces a lot of excellent material about basic apps that we all have access to for free. His videos on apps within the Google Workspace, specifically how they all link together and all the different features and how you can use them, are exceptionally valuable. https://www.youtube.com/@Simpletivity
8. Thomas Frank Explains
Thomas’s second channel is all about in-depth Notion guides. The videos here are longer and are step by step tutorials to how to build different things within Notion. If you don’t use Notion, then this channel may not have much value for you. If you do use Notion then you need to watch these videos to understand how to use the app to its fullest potential. The channel also contains his Notion Fundamentals videos that go over all the basics of this app. https://www.youtube.com/@ThomasFrankExplains
9. Reagan Rose
Reagan is here to help Christian get more done and get it done like Christians. A fantastic mix of theology and godliness and how this should impact our approach to work, life and productivity. https://www.youtube.com/@reagantrose
10. Nora Conrad
Nora is a Christian, a wife, a mum and she runs a business in her ‘free’ time. This channel is all about how she goes about living that life. It contains Bible studies and thought, productivity advice, working and trying to bring up little children at the same time. I find her stuff really helpful as it is based in the reality of every day life and the many stresses and pressures that mean we are not trying to get stuff done in a world where us and our work/lives is all that there is. https://www.youtube.com/@NoraConrad
So there you have it – 10 Productivity YouTube channels that you’ll love and don’t want to miss!
